About Us
Empire Basketball Training was officially established in 2014 by Coach Christian. Empire Basketball Training has become one of the top basketball training programs in Michigan. Built on hard work and dedication, Empire Basketball Training gives players of all ages the chance to grow as basketball players and also grow and mature in their daily life. We give a unique training experience by using drills that are performed by NBA players and Pros. Most drills are created by Empire's trainers and other drills are taken from college practices and previous workout experiences with NBA and NBA Development League teams.

FAQ:
Is Empire GameLab good for beginner players? Empire GameLab provides an environment of high level competition and high level skill training. If players are beginners we suggest starting with our Empire GameFoundation group. This will develop the players at their pace and get them ready to join Empire GameLab as soon as possible.
What grades does Empire GameLab start at? Empire GameLab will have grades 6th-8th division and high school division. Our Empire GameFoundations will be for grades 3rd-5th. More info will be provided in your enrollment letter email.
Is this Co-Ed? This is not co-ed. The boys will stay with the boys group and the girls will be with the girls group.
When does GameLab start? Empire GameLab will be starting February 2026. Sessions will be on Saturdays and Sundays. More info will be provided in your enrollment letter email.
Do I need to pay for an entire package at once? Or can I pay for individual clinics? Empire GameLab is a monthly development membership, not per-session. This monthly membership replaces the need for only individual training or only league play. Your membership gives you- Elite training. Real games. One program.
I have a friend who wants to try Empire GameLab, can they come for a drop-in? Empire GameLab does not allow drop-in players. Our goal is to provide a high level and competitive atmosphere that is built on the dedication of both our players and parents attending each week. If you know a player who is serious about getting better ask them to join our waitlist and prepare for the next enrollment.
How do you measure the success and development of players? Players will receive a personalized Empire GameLab Player Tracker. This journal will keep players accountable to their growth and provide a clear road map to quick development. After each session players will take 5-10 minutes to write what translated, what didn't and one takeaway from their session.
